During a review of recent news stories, this article from MLive.com came to our attention:

Detroit-area Muslims search for answers, understanding in light of Boston Bombings

Written by Jay Scott Smith, it contains only a few words regarding the bombing, some comments by Osama Siblani  and then becomes a PR piece for the Muslim American Society.  It closes with an interview of Dawud Walid, the Executive Director for the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) who stated:

“Muslims are the greatest victims of violence in the world …”

As reported, CAIR’s response in the wake of the Boston bombing was easily predicted – take the focus away from the actual attack and paint Muslims as victims. Mr. Smith’s article promoted this agenda and we highlighted it with this tweet:
