For all you bozos out there driving around with those co-exist stickers, you can’t coexist with someone who wants you dead, has the capacity to ensure that, and remains convicted that you lack any rights whatsoever.

Not 10 hours before the attacks in Paris that killed 129 people and left 352 injured, President Obama claimed he had “contained” ISIS.
Now his apologists are rushing in to defend his misinformed assertion with explanations that he was referring to ISIS’ geographical containment, that they aren’t gaining more ground in Syria. But I’m fed up with this word play. Geographically, they are bigger than ever before, having now advanced as far as FRANCE! Let me ask you this, you forked-tongued, logic-lacking sycophants. Would he repeat his assertion – that ISIS is contained – today, after the attacks in Paris? NO!
We currently face two threats on our way of life in a country that has offered mankind the most technological advances and created the most prosperity the world has ever seen: Political correctness, or secularism, and Medieval Islamists.
Medieval Islam seeks to challenge us, violently. They don’t just disagree with self-governance and this country’s dedication to the God of Abraham and our Judeo-Christian morals. If they did, those insipid, moronic bumper stickers would be true, and we would all co-exist. For all you bozos out there driving around with those co-exist stickers, you can’t coexist with someone who wants you dead, has the capacity to ensure that, and remains convicted that you lack any rights whatsoever. You can only shoot back in self-preservation. Co-existence is not an option because the other sides reject it outright. And by the way, those victims in the theater and restaurants in France complied with the restrictive gun laws, and were unable to shoot back. Their right to co-exist was summarily terminated by those lunatic jihadis who instead chose co-non-existence.

COMMENT: We’ve repeatedly said that political correctness is used as a weapon against us and the rest of the west. Sam Sorbo’s commentary is excellent food for thought. Her website can be reached at www.samsorbo.com
Either Islam will reform, or it will be in constant conflict with the West until one side or the other gives up.
– Jonathan Keiler
In a May 9, 2015 American Thinker blog post, Jonathan Keiler writes that Islam needs to reform and drop taboos that place it at odds with Western culture:
Pamela Geller’s “draw Mohammed” contest in Texas was provocative, but the problem is not with Geller or the contest organizers, it is with Muslims who insist that they were provoked because it violated a Muslim taboo against representational art. Muslims should not have been provoked by a contest that was about free speech. In the West free speech and activities that are offensive but don’t infringe the rights of others, are not only tolerated, but often celebrated. They are part of the fundamental fabric of society.
Muslims are entitled to their taboos; every religion has them. Religious taboos emerge, evolve, change or dissipate over time, and Islam is no exception to this process. Islam began without an accepted taboo requiring women to veil themselves, the practice becoming widespread only after the conquest of Mesopotamia. And over time, and depending on place, that taboo has waxed and waned.
Art has always been a part of religion, and beliefs about art within religions are not static. Western Christian iconography changed dramatically over time as Christianity grew from a small Jewish cult to an imperial faith. Byzantium celebrated icons, broke them, and celebrated again. In Buddhism, as the faith moved along the Silk Roads from India to China, Buddha changed from an aesthetic priest into a chubby party animal.
COMMENT/ANAYLSIS: Keiler further points out that the common trend of taking a politically correct apologist stance with Islam needs to stop:
Western pundits and politicians ought to do what they can to encourage reform, not hinder it by parroting Islamist positions in an attempt to assuage Muslims. This not only leads to moral absurdities — like blaming the victims of the terror attack in Texas instead of the perpetrators and their sympathizers — but it gives Muslims little reason to reform their religion.
We agree. Appeasing Islamists only bolsters their influence within Muslim communities, lessening chances for meaningful reform. As we pointed out in a follow-up to the Garland terror attack, this type of stance is simply a “win” for Islamists in using fear and intimidation to silence those that oppose them.

In Islamist Propaganda – at taxpayers expense (March 2014) we noted how law enforcement and security organizations were replacing Islamic anti-terror training with politically correct cultural awareness programs. The impetus comes from Muslim Brotherhood (MB) front groups such as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC).
At the end of that article were these comments:
Another player in the Muslim cultural awareness arena is the World Organization for Resource Development and Education (WORDE). This group apparently has no ties to Muslim Brotherhood affiliated groups. There is some confusion in that WORDE is promoting what they call The Montgomery County Model – a partnership with the Montgomery County Maryland Police Department in developing a new, community based-model to increase public safety. If you viewed the Connecting Cultures DOJ/COPS funded film, you’ll note that the Montgomery County Police Department was the featured agency. I read one source that indicated the film was produced several years back. If so, one can only hope that the Montgomery County PD learned from their mistakes. Can’t say the same for Homeland Security and DOJ.
A recent report from Point de Bascule Canada led to information that changes our assessment of WORDE, specifically the lack of ties to MB groups. While reviewing some linked Point de Bascule background items we came across another report from October 2014, where Point de Bascule wrote:
On October 8th, 2014, the International Cultural Center invited American and Canadian experts in Montgomery Village (Maryland) to talk about the terrorist threat posed by the Islamic State (ISIS) to the United States. The theme of the evening was Understanding the ISIS Threat to the Homeland.
An article published by Point de Bascule four days before the meeting highlighted that two of the guest speakers, Rabia Chaudry and Hussein Hamdani, were linked to the Hamas’s North American support network and, therefore, could not be counted as allies against the terrorist threat.
The International Cultural Center is a WORDE program established in 2011 and located in Gaithersburg, MD. Rabia Chaudry is a former CAIR spokesperson and is frequently involved with MPAC programs and events. Point de Bascule’s recent report concerns Hussein Hamdani, an advisor to a Canadian agency security agency, who has been suspended pending an investigation into his ties to Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas related organizations.
It appears that this attack is yet another case of what I have termed “known wolf” syndrome, when the suspect is already known to law enforcement and intelligence. Virtually every terror attack in the West over the past year has been by one of these “known wolf” suspects.

In October 2014, we reported on the efforts of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to have the US Department of Justice (DOJ) investigate an Arkansas gun range whose owner declared the business to be a ‘Muslim-Free Zone’.
This past week, CAIR published a news release that the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ has decided to “monitor” the gun range. According to the release:
CAIR has now received a letter from the DOJ informing the Washington-based civil rights organization of the decision to monitor the Arkansas case.
The business: Gun Cave Indoor Shooting Range located in Hot Springs, AR about an hour south of Little Rock.

‘American Sniper’ derailed by Muslim complaints at University of Maryland
From: The Washington Times
By: Douglas Ernst, April 24, 2015
The University of Maryland joins the University of Michigan in the ranks of educational institutions with an “American Sniper” controversy.
Muslim student protests prompted the University of Maryland at College Park to announce the cancellation of the movie about deceased Navy SEAL Chris Kyle.
“American Sniper only perpetuates the spread of Islamophobia and is offensive to many Muslims around the world for good reason. This movie dehumanizes Muslim individuals, promotes the idea of senseless mass murder, and portrays negative and inaccurate stereotypes,” the university’s Muslim Students Association said in its petition, Fox News reported Thursday.
COMMENT/ANALYSIS: The cited Fox News article notes that this is not the first time that Muslims and their supporters have made an effort to silence this movie. The University of Michigan cancelled a screening only to reverse the decision after national outrage and as of this writing a petition drive was made to ban the film at George Mason University.
The the Muslim Students Association (MSA) frequently moves to silence people/concept/ideas that it finds offensive on campuses (i.e. appearances by Ayaan Hirsi Ali). The sad part is witnessing educational institutions – described as bastions of free speech – submit to the the will of the MSA. Meet the “Brown shirts” of this century.
As noted by the Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Watch, The MSA was founded in 1963 by members of the Muslim Brotherhood fleeing their home countries and leaders of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), another U.S. Brotherhood organization, played instrumental roles in its founding and early years.
“Public officials, and that includes public school officials, violate the free speech clause of the First Amendment whenever they censor speech merely because it offends someone… Unfortunately, we are seeing this trend grow as Muslim activists play the victim card.”
– William J. Becker, Jr., Freedom X’s president and general counsel (8/12/2014 Examiner.com)
At issue was an April 24, 2014 after-hours town hall meeting at a local area high school planned by the Knoxville chapter of ACT! for America . The event was to feature Dr. Bill French (aka Dr. Bill Warner), an expert on Islam, and Matt Bonner of Crescent Project, a Christian ministry reaching out to Muslims with the Gospel.
In late 2013, the Knoxville chapter of ACT! for America had requested and received approval to use Farragut High School for the planned event. In March 2014 a press release was sent to the local newspaper promoting the event.
Around April 8, 2014, the County School offices received an email from AbdelRahman Murphy, the University of Tennessee (UTK) Muslim Chaplain and director of “Roots” a Muslim outreach program. Murphy’s email characterized ACT! Knoxville as an organization with a history of engaging in hate speech
Around that same time as Murphy’s email, CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper sent a letter to Farragut High School Principal Michael Reynolds expressing concerns about the event calling ACT! for America a hate group and characterizing French as a bigot. The letter closed with:
We support the First Amendment right to free speech — even the kind of hate speech used by these speakers — but believe, because of the need for a safe and inclusive learning environment, that a school is not the proper setting such an event.
I therefore respectfully request that you review district policies to determine whether you high school is an appropriate venue for a potentially hate-filled program.
On April 11, 2014, the School system sent a letter to the Knoxville chapter of ACT! for America, rescinding the agreement for the April 24th event:
The administration at Farragut High School has express ed concerns to me about the disruption your event scheduled for April 24th is causing to the educational environment at the school.
The primary purpose of our school facilities is to provide a safe, healthy and comfortable learning environment for our students. When other uses of the facility begin to impinge on or interfere with the administrations ability to provide a suitable educational atmosphere, it is necessary for us to reconsider that use.
A local news station reported on the cancellation indicating the decision to rescind approval was because “some” said the event discriminated against Muslims.
On August 4, 2014 , a lawsuit was filed by the nonprofit law firm Freedom X on behalf of John Peach, president of the Knoxville chapter of ACT! for America, and Bill French against the school system in U.S. District Court, for violating their First Amendment right of free speech and their Fourteenth Amendment rights of equal protection and due process.
On October 1st, an out of court settlement was reached. According to wbir.com:
The sides officially reached an agreement Wednesday night. Under the terms, the county will pay out roughly $17,500 in attorney fees, administrative costs and monetary damages tied to advertising for the event.
In addition, the school board on Wednesday – under the terms of the settlement – amended its policy regarding the community’s use of school facilities.
COMMENT/ANALYSIS: CAIR frequently attempts to silence critics of Islam through intimidation or legal proceedings. In this case they managed to coerce the school system to do their bidding. CAIR’s input to the school system was most likely arranged by AbdelRahman Murphy, who served as an intern with the Communications Department at CAIR-Chicago in 2006. Murphy worked under the guidance of then communications director, Ahmed Rehab – the current executive director for CAIR-Chicago.
In addition to his work with “Roots” and as the Muslim chaplain at UTK, Murphy is the primary advisor to UTK’s Muslim Student Association and youth director of the Muslim Community of Knoxville (MCK). He makes appearances on the Muslim “talk circuit” and maintains a close relationship with Imam Suhaib Webb, of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC).
It’s probably not a coincidence that the DOJ announcement comes within a week of MPAC’s new campaign push for Safe Spaces and the American Muslims United Against Violent Extremism: Press Conference
In a video message posted on the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) website, Attorney General Eric Holder announced that the DOJ is joining with the White House, the Department of Homeland Security, and the National Counterterrorism Center to ” launch a new series of pilot programs in cities across the nation to help counter violent extremism.” According to Holder, ” These programs will bring together community representatives, public safety officials, religious leaders, and United States Attorneys to improve local engagement; to counter violent extremism; and — ultimately — to build a broad network of community partnerships to keep our nation safe.”
A complete text of the message can be read HERE
Susan Jones of CNSNews.com reported:
Holder said the administration “will work closely with community representatives to develop comprehensive local strategies, to raise awareness about important issues, to share information on best practices, and to expand and improve training in every area of the country.”
He noted that since 2012, U.S. attorneys have held or attended more than 1,700 “engagement-related events or meetings to enhance trust and facilitate communication in their neighborhoods and districts.” The new pilot programs will build on that work, he said.
Holder also announced that the White House plans to host a “Countering Violent Extremism” summit in October.
Holder did not mention Islam or Muslims, and he used the phrase “violent extremism” to describe the “urgent” threat that the nation faces.
Josh Gerstein wrote on Politico.com:
The U.S. Government’s current efforts to stem terrorist recruitment and so-called “lone wolf” attacks by people receptive to extremist rhetoric have been criticized for being unfocused and underfunded. In addition, many experts have questioned whether U.S. Attorneys—the top federal prosecutors in various communities—are best-suited to lead the government’s anti-extremism campaign.
Many leaders in the Muslim community are reluctant to work with prosecutors because of deep concern over Federal Bureau of Investigation sting operations used to target potential terrorists. However, efforts in the U.S. to use means other than traditional law enforcement to intervene with individuals susceptible to extremist messages have been few, due to concerns about civil liberties as well as fears about what could happen if that kind of intervention failed in a specific case.
Holder’s statement Monday seemed to acknowledge some of those concerns. While the outreach efforts are expected to focus primarily on communities with large Muslim populations, his video message made no reference to the religion aside from his use of the acronym for the terrorist group which has grabbed attention for its brutal tactics assembling territory across Syria and Iraq.
COMMENT/ANALYSIS: Expect to see many of the names we mentioned in MPAC’s Safe Spaces: the Trojan Horse Continues to be involved with these new programs. It’s probably not a coincidence that the DOJ announcement comes within a week of MPAC’s renewed campaign push for Safe Spaces and the ADAMS sponsored American Muslims United Against Violent Extremism: Press Conference. MPAC and the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) have been tied to elements of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.
Germany criminalises all support for ISIL
As a followup to our coverage of the Sharia Police story out of Germany, it is now reported that Berlin has just instituted measures banning all support for ISIS/IS (the Islamic State) on German soil.
According to a report by euronews.com:
The measures prohibit all fund raising and campaigning, including any online support or public use of their symbols.
The Netherlands is the only other European nation to have introduced similar legislation.
Germany’s Interior Minister Thomas De Maiziere outlined why such steps were necessary:
“The terrorist organisation Islamic State is a threat, also for Germany’s public safety. We must prevent radicalised Islamists from carrying jihad to our cities.”
The article makes mention that the Sharia Police incident caused “alarm bells” and Berlin is concerned about radicalized German citizens returning from Syria and Iraq. The full article can be viewed HERE.
COMMENT/ANALYSIS: As we pointed out in our followup to the Sharia Police story, Germany will not tolerate the level of activity seen in other European nations and the U.K. The memory of World War II and the events that led up to it are permanent reminders of the tragic results of allowing any type of radical or extremist movements to go unchecked. The Salafist threat, while representing a small fraction of the country’s Muslim population has increased over the last few years. As noted in a report we highlighted last year, “… authorities are concerned that most of those attracted to Salafi ideology are impressionable young Muslims who are especially susceptible to committing suicide attacks in the name of Islam.”
The EU is about to see an increase in Muslim immigration as result of the turmoil in the Middle East and it will bring with it, increased support for Islamist ideology. Most will likely settle in Sweden or Norway – countries that offer more liberal asylum laws and welfare programs.
